The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

lehead Lighthouse star party CANCELLED
We have CANCELLED our planned star party at the Marblehead Lighthouse scheduled for tonight, Saturday Sept.3rd, due to a forecast of heavy cloud cover.We may try to reschedule a star party there some time next summer. Our next Public Observing session is scheduled for Friday Sept. 16th with the 17th as our back up date in case the weather is poor on Friday.
