The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing OPEN for 8/26/'22
We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday August 26, 2022 from 10:00-12:00 midnight. Join us to see the beauty of the night sky through our large telescopes. Please park in the lot to the right and walk over to the observatory. Parking beside the building is restricted to members unloading telescopes and equipment and those with mobility issues. Also watch for deer on the drive in. See you there!
