The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Observing CANCELLED for 4/8/'22
We have CANCELLED Public Observing on Friday April 8, 2022 due to cloudy and rainy weather with cold temperatures. Sadly, tomorrow night looks cloder with snow showers possible (!) but hopefully the conditions will change. Check back tomorrow afternoon to check our status.
