Public Observing OPEN for 10/8/'21
We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday Oct. 8, 2021 from 8:00-10:00 PM. The weather may not be perfect, but this is our last chance to observe until November, so we will try. Join us to see the beauty of the night sky through our large telescopes. Jupiter and Saturn are especially prominent this month and are always beautiful in a telescope. For directions to the observatory, please click on the "Maps" tab on the home page of this website. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory, as parking beside the building is for members unloading telescopes and equipment. Watch for deer on the drive in and also note that the Metro Parks is hosting a Halloween drive through next teo weekends and many of the spooky decorations are already up. We hope you can join us...the event is free and open for all.
