Public Observing is ON for Friday Oct. 25th

While it is currently cloudy, five of the weather forecasts I trust most, are calling for clear or mostly clear skies by 8:00 tonight when Public Observing starts. Please join us to view the night sky through powerful telescopes. the event lasts until 10:00. Please dress warmly as it will be cold and breezy.

Our next General Meeting is Wednesday November 6th at the Carlisle Visitors Center starting at 7:00 PM. Our speaker will be Astrophysicist Rob Owen from Oberlin College speaking on " Black Holes, Gravitational Waves and Multimessenger Astronomy". The public is welcome.

Our next Public Observing is Friday Nov. 8th from 7:00-9:00. Note the earlier start time due to the time change and our increasingly short days. We hope to see you there. Clear skies only...please check this website to see if we are cancelled.
