The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Solar Observing CANCELLED
Solar Observing for today Sunday June 16 has been CANCELLED due to cloud cover and the possibility of thunder showers. Our next scheduled Solar Observing will be Sunday July 21 at the Lorain County MetroParks Sandy Ridge reservation (Johnson Wetlands Center) from 1:00-4:00 PM. Please join us!
