We have CANCELLED Public Observing for Friday June 28, 2013. There are more thunderstorms coming from Michigan, and even if they pass, both the Clear Sky Clock and the National Weather Service are predicting 80-90% cloud cover for the 10:00-Midnight time slot. We will try again tomorrow night, but the forecast doesn't look encouraging. Check back tomorrow to see if we can observe.
Our next General Meeting is Wednesday July3rd at 7:00 at the Lorain Co. MetroParks Carlisle Visitors Center. The public is welcome and our program will be Mr. John O'Neal speaking on the sun. John is one of the most experienced and knowledgable solar observers in Ohio, so we expect an excellent talk. Please join us!
