The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing is ON for Sat. May 18th
Public Observing is ON for tonight, Saturday May 18th. We will start at 10:00 and go until Midnight. There will be some clouds, but we should be able to work around them. Come join us and see Saturn and it's rings and other objects like star clusters. Quick reminder: bring a jacket as it will cool off once the sun sets. We hope to see you there!
