Public Observing for Friday May 3rd is ON. Come join the Black River Astronomical Society as we view the night sky through our 14 inch telescopes. We start at 10:00 and will be there until midnight. Saturn is a beautiful sight in a telescope and it is the perfect time to see it tonight. Please join us!
We also have solar observing through safe solar telescopes on Sunday May 12th from 1:00-4:00 at the Lorain County MetroParks Burr Oak reservation. The public is welcome!
If you can't join us for public observing tonight, our next session is Friday May 17th from 10:00-12:00 midnight. Saturday 5/18 will be our back-up date if it is cloudy on the 17th. Please join us!
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
