Public Observing for tonight, Friday 4/5/13 is ON. All of the weather forecasts say either "clear" or "mostly clear" for this evening. The forecast I trust most, predicts about 12% cloud cover at 9:00 PM and perhaps 25% cloud cover by 11:00 PM. For early April, that is pretty good.
Please note that it is going to be COLD and WINDY tonight, so dress warmly. The observatory has a roll-off roof so it is open to the weather although it is mostly out of the wind.
We will start at 9:00 PM and will observe until 11:00 or so. We hope to see you there.
