The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing CANCELLED for 3/11/'23
Once again the clouds and cold have forced the CANCELLATION of our observing session for tonight, Saturday March 11, 2023. Our next public star party is scheduled for Friday March 24th with the 25th as our back-up date. Let's hope the weather cooperates.
