Public Observing OPEN for 8/12/'22
We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday August 12, 2022 from 10:00-12:00 midnight at the Nielsen Observatory. In spite of the full moon, we should see a few Perseid meteors tonight. Be aware that the sky conditions may be a little iffy at 10:00, but are expected to improve by 11:00 or so. For directions to the observatory, see the "MAPS" tab on the homne page of this website.
