The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing CANCELLED 6/19/'21
Once again, the weather has forced us to CANCEL Public Observing for Saturday June 19th. Our next scheduled public star party will be Friday July 9th from 10:00-12:00 midnight, with Saturday July 10th as our back-up date. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate. See you then,
