While it is sunny now, ALL the forecasts predict that by evening we will have 100% cloud cover and it will become rainy. Thus, we are forced to CANCEL Public Observing for Sat. May 11, 2019.
Join us at the Lorain County Metro Parks Adventure Fest next Saturday when we will do solar observing with our safe, solar telescopes. The program starts at 10:00 AM and goes until3:00 PM at the Vermilion River/Mill Hollow Reservation.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
