We have CANCELLED Public Observing for Saturday Nov. 10th, 2018 due to a forecast of clouds, wind and snow showers. Our next scheduled public star party will be Friday December 14th, with Saturday the 15th as our back-up date.
Members are reminded that our Christmas pot luck is Wednesday Dec. 5th at 7:00 at the Lorain Co. MetroParks Amherst Beaver Creek Reservation. Please bring a dish to pass, a beverage and a place setting for yourself.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
