We have CANCELLED Public Observing for Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 due to cloud cover and poor transparency. Sadly, tomorrow night looks even worse, but do check back tomorrow afternoon in case the forecast changes. our next scheduled public star party is Friday January 25th from 8;00-10:00 PM with Saturday the 26th as our back up date. Let's hope for better weather

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
