Once again the weather has forced us to CANCEL Public Observing for Saturday, July 21st 2018. We have solar observing at the Lorain County Metro Parks Sandy Ridge Reservation on Sunday July 29th from 1:00-4:00 PM, and our next General Meeting is Wednesday August 1st at 7:00 at the LCMP Carlisle Visitors Center on Diagonal Road. The public is invited to join us at both events!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
