We have CANCELLED Public Observing for Friday, July 20, 2018 due to clouds and rain. the forecast isn't much better for tomorrow night, but do check back tomorrow in case conditions change.
We have solar viewing Sunday July 29th from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Lorain County Metro Parks Sandy Ridge Reservation. Stop by and see our nearest star through our safe solar telescopes.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
