We are OPEN for a public star party tonight, Friday March 16, 2018 from 8:00-10:00 PM. Please click on the "Maps" tab on the home page of this website for directions and a map. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory as parking beside the building is restricted to members unloading telescopes and equipment. It will be cold, so we suggest you dress warmly and watch for deer on the drive in, please. We hope you can join us.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
