The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing OPEN for 3/23/'18
We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday March 23rd from 8:00-10:00 PM. It will be COLD, so please dress accordingly. If you need directions, please click on the "Maps" tab on the home page of this website to see the location of the observatory. We ask that you park in the parking lot on the right, and walk over to the observatory, as parking beside the building is restricted to members unloading telescopes and equipment. Also, please watch for deer on the drive in. We hope you can join us!
