We are OPEN for a public star party tonight Friday 11/4/'16 from 8:00-10:00 PM. There is also a nova in Sagittarius that should be visible in binoculars from our dark sky site. Please dress warmly as temps will be in the 40s and watch for deer on the drive in. Park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory. Parking beside the building is restricted to members unloading telescopes and equipment. We hope you can join us to see the beauty of the night sky through our telescopes!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
