We are opening the Nielsen Observatory to members and the public from 8:00-10:00 PM. Please dress for cold weather and watch for deer on the drive in. Please park in the lot on the right, unless unloading telescopes and equipment. See the "Maps" tab on the home page of this website if you need directions. We hope you can join us!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
