We are OPENING the Nielsen Observatory to the public tonight from 10:00-12:00 Midnight. Join us to see Mars, Jupiter and Saturn through our large telescopes. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory. Parking beside the building is restricted to members unloading telescopes and equipment. Also please watch for deer an you drive in. See the "Maps" tab on the home page of this website for a map and directions to the observatory. See you tonight!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
