We are OPENING the Nielsen Observatory for club members and for the public tonight, Friday June 3rd from 10:00-12:00 Midnight. Mars is unusually close to Earth and Jupiter and Saturn are well placed to observe. Come see the objects in Scorpius that John Reising described in his Constellation of the month segment Wednesday night. We hope you can make it!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
