The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing is OPEN Friday 7/25/'15
We are OPEN for a Public Star Party tonight, 7/25/'15 from 10:00-12:00 midnight. Please join us at the Nielsen Observatory to view the heavens through two 14 inch telescopes. Please click the "maps" tab at the top of the Home page for a map to the observatory if needed. We hope to see you there.
