We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Sat. April 11,2015 starting at 9:00 at the Nielsen Observatory. The weather forecasts call for clear or mostly clear. It will, however, be cold, with temps. in the mid 30s so dress warmly.
DON'T FORGET WE HAVE ASTRONOMY DAY TOMORROW, SUNDAY 4/12 AT SANDY RIDGE. THE EVENT RUNS FROM NOON TO 4:00 PM AND WILL INCLUDE SOLAR OBSERVING WITH DISPLAYS INSIDE. ALL MEMBERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME HELP. THIS IS A FUN EVENT AND A GREAT WAY TO INTERACT WITH THE PUBLIC. NO SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED TO HELP. PLEASE JOIN US!
