We are opening the Nielsen Observatory tonight from 8:00-10:00 for Public Observing. It will be COLD, so please dress warmly. Often, as you know, these cold nights can be very clear with excellent seeing, so we may have a nice night. In Vermilion, where I live, the snow has melted off of the driveways and sidewalks, so I believe the concrete pads on either side of the observatory should be clear for folks who want to set up there. Please join us!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
