The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing is CANCELLED for Fri. 10/24/'14
We have cancelled Public Observing for tonight Friday 10/24 due to cloud cover. Tomorrow night, Sat.10/25 is forecast to be mostly clear, so if the forecast holds true we will observe from 9:00-11:00 PM . Please check back tomorrow to make sure we are open. If the weather holds, we hope you can join us tomorrow night.
