The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

PUBLIC OBSERVING IS OPEN FOR FRIDAY MARCH 7,2014
Public Observing is ON for tonight 3/7/'14. Come join the Black River Astronomical Society at the Nielsen Observatory to view the night sky through powerful telescopes. We start at 8:00 and end at 10:00 PM. For a map to the observatory, click on the "maps" tab in this website. We hope you can join us.
