Mike Harkey and I are going to the Spitzer Marina Pier at 2am if the
sky remains clear to observe and photograph Comet C/2012 R1 Lovejoy.
It's
in Bootes at about 4.5 mag. It will be above the horizon at 2am and is
best observed from 3am till dawn. Current images show a bright condensed
green coma with a multitude of streamers eminating from the coma.
