Public Observing is CANCELLED for tonight, Friday August 10, 2012. Our somewhat clear sky has turned cloudy with more clouds and some rain coming from the west.
Check back tomorrow as the weather looks more promising AND we should see some meteors from the Perseid Meteor Shower tomorrow night! I will post a go/no go decision by 7:00 PM tomorrow at the latest.
Don't forget we have SOLAR OBSERVING AT MILL HOLLOW THIS SUNDAY 10/12 FROM 1:00-4:00. There is also a car show there. Come and see both the cars and our very active sun through safe solar telescopes. We hope you can join us.
