The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing Tonight Friday 8/24
Public Observing for tonight, Friday August 24 is ON. The weather looks clear and skies should be good for observing tonight. Please come join the Black River Astronomical Society as we use out 14 inch telescopes to observe the heavens. The event starts at 9:00 and goes until 11:00. The public is invited. We hope to see you there!
