Public Observing for tonight (Friday 7/13) is ON. There are clouds coming, but most forecasts say either clear or partly cloudy until after midnight. The Public event starts at 10:00PM and runs until midnight.
Club members, please remember that there is a Girl Scout Day Camp there tonight and that we are giving the girls tours of the observatory starting at 8:30. Any BRAS member who wants to help is invited.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
Girls Scouts of River Valley Day Camp thanks you for a wonderful evening at the observatory! We had a great time and the girls really enjoyed the tours.
