The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

BRAS Picnic. Saturday
The BRAS picnic is Saturday June30 starting at 5:00. This picnic is for members and their families and is a benefit that your dues provides. The club will provide hot dogs, buns, chips, and drinks. Please bring a dish to pass and a table setting.
The location is the picnic shelter next to the observatory at the Equestrian Center of the LCMP off Diagonal Road. If it is clear, we will open the observatory and enjoy the night sky.
