Come on out to the Nielsen Observatory tonight.
We will be showcasing the first quarter moon. If you have never looked at the moon through a telescope this is a real treat. Once you see the lunar surface through a 14 inch telescope you will be amazed.
This is probably the last good viewing session for seeing Saturn until next year so don't miss it.
I'm sure we'll find a few other things to put on display as well. The weather will be moderate (maybe around 60)so there is no need to bundle up although mosquito repellent might be a good idea.
Observing is scheduled from 10PM until midnight. See you there!
