The public observing session scheduled for Friday October 8 is on! The Clear Sky Clock is promising so excellent skies for tonight and the weather forecast is about as good as it gets.
We hope to get a good look at comet Hartley2 and maybe see a few Draconid meteors. Jupiter is well positioned for evening viewing and I'm sure we'll see a few other interesting objects as well.
So come one, come all! See you at the Nielsen Observatory at 8pm.
