Come on out tonight for our Spooky Halloween Star Party!
The weather looks OK, although it will be seasonably cold after dark. Be sure to dress warmly. The moon and the clouds should not make an appearance 'til after midnight so we should have some nice views of Jupiter all evening.
We might even see some ghostly apparitions of stars gone by (planetary nebulas), and other etherial glows (galaxys)!
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
