The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.

Public Observing OPEN 3/5/'22
We are OPEN for Public Observing on Saturday March 5th 2022 from 8:00-10:00 PM. Please click on the "Maps" tab on this website for directions to the observatory. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory as parking beside the building is for people unloading telescopes and equipment. Please watch for deer on the drive in. See you there.
