We are OPEN for Public Observing February 21, 2020 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Nielsen Observatory. For directions to the observatory go back to the home page of this website, and click on the "Maps" tab at the top. Please dress warmly as it is cold and the observatory is unheated. Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory, as parking beside the building is restricted to club members unloading telescopes and equipment. Also, please watch for deer on the drive in. It is not often that we get clear nights in February, so we are excited to share the night sky with you...come join us!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
