We have CANCELLED the General Meeting scheduled for tonight, Wednesday Feb. 5, 2020 due to a winter weather advisory that goes into effect at 6:00 PM. While it is forecast to be mostly snow early, if the front accelerates, we could have sleet and freezing rain putting ice on the roadways for our trip home. Thus, it seem safer to avoid that possibility by cancelling the meeting.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
