We have CANCELLED Public Observing for Sat. Aug. 31st due to cloud cover and murky skies. Our next Public Observing session is Friday Sept. 6, 2019 with the 7th as our back-up date. Please note that because of other club activities, this is the only night observing session in September. We will do solar observing Sunday Sept. 22nd at Sandy Ridge from 1:00-4:00 PM.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
