We are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday June 7, 2019 from 10:00-12:00 Midnight. For directions to the Nielsen Observatory, please click on the "Maps" tab on the home page of this website. Please park in the parking lot on your right and walk over to the observatory. Parking beside the building is for members unloading telescopes and equipment. Also, please watch for deer on the drive in. We hope you can join us.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
