We will be OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Saturday July 1, 2017 from 10:00-12:00 Midnight. The weather forecasts suggest that by 10:00 it should be clear or mostly clear, although it could be cloudy during the afternoon. This is a good month to see Saturn and Jupiter, so come join us! Please park in the parking lot on the right and walk over to the observatory, as parking beside the building is reserved for members unloading telescopes and equipment. Please click on the "Maps" tab on the home page for directions to the observatory.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
