We have CANCELLED Public Observing for Saturday April 22,2017 due to cloud cover and predicted poor "seeing". Our next General Meeting is Wednesday, May 3rd at 7:00 PM at the Lorain County Metro Parks Sandy Ridge Reservation. The public is welcome. Our next Public Observing session is Friday May 5th with Saturday the 6th as our back-up date. We hope you can join us!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
