We have cancelled Public Observing for tonight, April 14th due to forecasts of cloud cover. Tomorrow night looks better, esp. after 9:30 or so. Thus we will postpone until tomorrow from 9:00-11:00 PM at the Nielsen Observatory. Please see the "Maps" tab on our home page for directions and a map to the observatory. We hope you can join us to see Jupiter, the moon and other astronomical objects. Do check back tomorrow in case the forecast changes and we have to cancel again.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
