We have CANCELLED Public Observing for tonight, 5/16/'15 due to cloudy weather. Our next Public session is Friday May 22nd from 10:00-12:00 midnight.
TOMORROW is the LCMP Paddle and Pedal Festival at Lakeview Park from 11:00 AM-12:00PM. This is a kayak and urban bicycling event with a live band and food trucks. The Black River Astronomical Society will be there too. If it is pouring down rain, we are CANCELLED. If it is CLOUDY, WE WILL ATTEND! This will let us meet the public and give out club information and information on getting started in astronomy. We will do solar astronomy through holes in the clouds. The sun is so bright, that it will show through at least some cloud cover, so we hope to do some observing. Please join us!

The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
