We will OPEN the Nielsen Observatory for tonight, Saturday June 7, 2014. We will welcome the public starting at 10:00 PM and going until midnight. There will be some clouds, but we should be able to view anyway. Tonight there is a conjunction, or a close pairing of the moon and the planet Mars which should be interesting to view and we will also be able to view Saturn and Jupiter in addition to Mars. Please be aware that the temperature will drop into the 50s so bring a jacket. We hope to see you there!
