Tonight's session CANCELLED !!!

Tonight's Public Observing Session (Friday, August 28th, 2009) at the Nielsen Observatory is cancelled due to cloudy skies.

Tomorrow night, Saturday August 29th, should be much better. Predictions show clearing skies about 5pm and favorable viewing throughout the night.

Won't you join us for some spectacular views of the first quarter moon? Another highlight will be the mighty Planet Jupiter, which is near opposition and will present favourably in our telescopes.

Other highlights at this session will be the summer Milky Way, the Great Hercules Cluster, M13 and the Great Andromeda Galaxy, our closest neighbor in space.

We hope to see you there...
