Our semi-annual planning meeting will be held at the Nielson Obsevatory tonight, Saturday, April 18th @ 7pm. (This is a rain or shine event.)
Then, right after the planning meeting, @ 9pm on Saturday April 18 we will be hosting a StarParty at the Nielson. (This is a weather permitting event.)
Right now, the ClearSky Clock shows clouds moving in about 7pm. If you want to come out for the planning meetingand hang around if it's clear, feel free to do so.
Based on what I'm seeing right now, we will be leaving after the planning meeting. So, bottom line is, if you risk coming out, be there before 9pm. After that, all bets are off.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a place for members of The Black River Astronomical Society to blog, discuss upcoming meetings, cancel meeting, advertise their intent to go to the Nielson, etc. The Black River Astronomical Society has been bringing astronomy to, and serving Lorain County residents continuously since 1949.
