Public Observing OPEN 11/8/‘

WE are OPEN for Public Observing tonight, Friday Nov. 8th from 7:00-9:00 at the Nielsen Observatory. See the homempage of this website and click on the "MAps" tab for directions to the observatory. THis session and the one scheduled for the 22/23rd are the last chances to observe until January as December is blocked due to the Metro Parks Christmas Lights event held at the Equestrian Center. Thus, if you'd like to view the wonders of the night sky through our large telescopes, tonight would be an excellent opportunity. PLease watch for deer on the drive in and we recommend you dress warmly. PLease park in the lot on the right as parking beside the buildings is reserved for members unloading telescopes and equipment and folks with mobility issues. We hope you can join us!
